About Me

My name is Lisa Beebe

I grow up in the city of Wilmington, NC. About 10 yers ago I was definitely tired of all the traffic and a "busy" life. I needed a different pace. So Duplin Co. became my home for 10 years. I recently moved further into the county, Sampson Co. No close neighbors, lots of fresh air and the wonderful sound of nature. I'm a mom of 3 wonderful children, and 3 beautiful grand kids. I enjoy my plants and always look forward to taking care of them. I'm a very independent woman, who knows what she wants out of life. I also love my relationship with the Lord. He is the one who has helped me along my journey, and I will always be grateful and thankful for all He has done.

My Testimony

It all started about 5 years ago, when my fiancé bought me a house plant. Where we were living at the time, our house was small and not many windows. So each day when I got home from work I would place my plant outside to get some good sunlight for an hour or so. Well one day as I was going to grab it and bring it inside for the evening, I couldn't find it. As I looked for it, I seen it on the side of the porch where the wind must have knocked it down. Then I seen the pot on its side with all the soil on the ground, the plant was about 7 feet from the pot all chewed up from my fur babies. So as I got more soil and the very small part of the plant I thought I could save and repotted it. Over the next few weeks I made sure to set it some where safe, away from my fur babies. As time went by I noticed it was healing itself. I was so excited and thankful. Well, lets just say that did it for me. As I never had a green thumb when I was younger this little Arrowhead Plant really got me interested in plants. So I bought another plant and read on it and did more research on all kinds of plants. Well, a few years later we moved to a larger house with many of windows. So here I am today with around 200 plants of all different varieties of plants, from my first Arrowhead Plant to a Monstera Also. As I have a passion for plants, I want to spread the love I have for them to others.
